The Tactical 11T IR illuminators are built around 940nm wavelength LEDs, and are completely invisible to human eye. They emit zero red glow, which is present in the standard 850nm IR illuminators. Since standard cameras do not have peak performance in the 940nm light spectrum, the 940nm IR illuminators have much shorter range (-40%) range. However, being fully covert, they are ideal for law enforcement, military, and in traffic/railroad applications. They also feature I/O Ports for seamless camera, sync, and an automatic switch DAY/NIGHT for simplified integration.

All 940nm IR lights are considered custom and are purchased directly through AXTON. Although they are covered by our warranty, be 100% certain that you do need 940nm IR lights, since custom illuminators cannot be returned.
